We're a lean, mission-driven team that moves fast and values people who take ownership of their work.The RoleThe Logistics Manager is a critical operational role at WAYB, responsible for the end-to-end movement of finished goods from our overseas manufacturing partners to our customers. You'll own the entire supply chain execution layer, from purchase orders through 3PL fulfillment, while working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance to keep inventory accurate, orders on time, and operations running smoothly.This role reports to the Director of Operations and is based in Salt Lake City. Relocation assistance is not available.TONE: EXECUTE TO OWNCreate and manage Purchase Orders Own purchase order planning and execution with overseas manufacturing partners.Coordinate international freight Own all international transportation, freight forwarding, customs coordination, and inbound logistics.What You'll OwnSupply Chain & ProcurementCreate and manage Purchase Orders with our overseas manufacturing partnersCoordinate international freight from overseas ports, including ocean and air freightBook and manage LTL shipments for both external retail partners and internal replenishment3PL & Fulfillment OperationsServe as the primary day-to-day contact for our 3PL partner, overseeing all receiving and outbound fulfillmentManage Direct-to-Consumer, Amazon, and Wholesale fulfillment operations to ensure on-time, accurate order executionOwn receiving workflows, inventory allocation, and customer fulfillment processesInventory & ReportingMaintain real-time inventory accuracy across all channelsConduct regular inventory reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactivelyManage supplies procurement and logistics invoicingBuild and maintain reporting dashboards and key operational databasesDemand PlanningForecast inventory requirementsRecommend production timingMonitor weeks of supplyPrevent stock-outs and excess inventorySupplier ManagementBuild strong relationships with overseas factoriesManage freight forwardersManage customs brokersEvaluate logistics vendorsNegotiate shipping costs and service levelsSystemsExperience with systems similar to:ERP (NetSuite preferred)Amazon Vendor/Seller CentralShopifyShipHero / Extensiv / ShipStation / other WMSExcel (advanced)Power BI / Looker / Tableau preferredComplianceCustomsHTS CodesCountry of OriginImport DocumentationCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance on demand planning, special projects, and operational requestsSupport process auditing and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics workflowsMaintain and update key SOPs, workflows, and vendor documentationFreight ClaimsRegulatory DocumentationKPIsOn-time deliveryInventory accuracyFreight costInventory turnsFill rateOrder cycle timeOTIF (On Time In Full)What We're Looking For8+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, procurement, or operationsExperience managing international supply chains from overseas manufacturing through customer deliveryBackground in a consumer products, juvenile products, outdoor products, or CPG company preferredHands-on experience managing 3PL relationships and freight coordination (domestic LTL and international freight)Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environmentContinuous improvement mindset; you look for ways to make things faster, cheaper, or more accurateProficiency with inventory management systems, order management platforms, or ERP toolsClear communicator and collaborative partner across functionsComfort with ambiguity and a track record of building structure in fast-changing environmentsWhy WAYBWe're building something we're proud of: products that make family travel better and a company where great work gets noticed.
